Significantly, the people she highlights first had to receive healing through great faith, defying all odds, before they could begin their public ministries.
This book is a "must read" for anyone in need of healing or seeking resources for loved ones in need of healing. And, she writes in a way that fully engages the reader.

Inspiring!
Healed to Heal is an inspiring collection of stories about individuals who have experienced healing and, in turn, dedicated themselves to helping others. I particularly enjoyed the story of Ethan Allen, who, after his healing, committed himself to praying for and witnessing the healing of many others. I will remember his quote: “Keep the name of Jesus between you and the devil. He cannot come across that.” The book is filled with many other impactful quotes that prompted me to reflect deeply. There is a wealth of wisdom woven into these stories. I find it uplifting to hear how God works in the lives of others and to see how miracles continue to happen today—not just in the Bible. The author did a fantastic job of bringing these stories to life. Overall, this book is both encouraging and educational.

This Book Cranks Up Your Faith to a Whole New Level
I already believed in God’s power to heal, but this book pulls it all together in a way that takes it to a whole new level, helping you see it’s not just that he can but that he WILL. The testimonies and stories are powerful, but what hit me most were the principles behind them—not lowering God’s Word down to the level of our experience, but standing on His Word until our experience lines up with it.
Its not just a big collection of feel good stories either. There are also real life examples of people that didn’t see breakthrough at first. They faced setbacks or delays, dealt with doubts, all that but refused to quit. Then, they not only received their healing but became determined to help others get theirs too.
I mailed a copy of the paperback to a friend who’s dealing with a very serious illness. Praying it will speak to him and help build his faith for healing. This message is not just hopeful, it’s a wake-up call to realize that all things ARE possible to one who believes.

If you're thrown off by the radical nature of her message, I get it, but I have one piece of advice: Just read it!!

Everyone's Testimony Can Carry Forward to Touch and Change Others
I appreciate the author's heart to encourage believers to walk in faith with the Lord. She encourages the reader to make a choice, to set down our lens and our limited point of view. As she says, "If you’re willing to look beyond offense or limitation, you might just uncover the very breakthrough God has been waiting to bring to you." The core of this book is the many amazing testimonies of those who God healed and then went on to see others healed. She encourages us, "The same Christ. The same healing. The same invitation: Come."
She shares, "I’ve experienced a reality I can’t unsee: There is more … more than tradition often allows. More than some denominations define as 'acceptable'." She shares a very understandable point of view that many men have limited many women. "If you’re a woman who feels called but is still waiting for permission—let the Word of Truth and the Spirit of Truth lead you. Read the Scriptures for yourself. Listen to God’s voice. And then obey God, not man. If God is calling you, that is your permission." Everyone should understand this point, both women and men.
I love the part where she states, "Captured the cry of a man who had tasted something deeper than deliverance—a man who wanted the Healer more than the healing." I'm a firm believer that we should all learn that truth as a solid foundation stone in our lives; to always "want the Healer more than the healing." ...
She has a wonderful premise throughout her book—that your testimony carries on. "That’s what testimony does. It boldly declares to anyone with ears to hear: This is possible for you, too." "When a testimony aligns with Scripture, it carries power. It becomes: a seed, a sword, a signal." "It [faith] is always to anchor it in what God has said."
Yet as she states, "Not every testimony ends the way we hoped." "And in that ache, the temptation comes—to build theology around what didn’t happen, to explain away the absence of breakthrough…It’s easy to understand why that happens, but God’s Word does not change based on outcomes." And, "The enemy is always ready with counterfeit answers lies that accuse God or discredit His Word. Don’t take the bait. Don’t let unanswered questions steal your confidence in what God has already made clear in His Word."

Believe and Receive!
This book is a wonderful collection chronicling the lives of people in history who were healed to heal. In every case, the healers were nobody from nowhere before they received their healing. All of the people who were healed went on to do God’s work in amazing ways. God can do amazing things in and through anyone who is willing. I was also impressed with the vast number of references in the bibliography – everything was so well researched and the author wove her own perspective into the story of each person, even citing experience from her own life. As I read, I could feel myself becoming more and more excited to believe and receive! While many of the scripture references talked about physical healing, the often quoted scripture that all things are possible with God reinforced my knowing that God truly is all powerful. Nothing is beyond Him.
I took so many wonderful lessons from this book, such as we are a vessel ... God does the work. It is important to always remember that Jesus is the answer, the way, everything. And the lesson that everyone is not always healed the same way. It is not a formula. We must be open to how God will work specifically in our lives – we cannot put God in a box. God created the world with words, so of course He can bring healing with just words – even if it is on a radio or tv program. Such an uplifting, inspiring read!

Stories That Gave Me Fresh Hope
I was really encouraged by this book. The stories of people like John G. Lake and T.L. Osborn showed me that they didn’t begin with power but with pain and disappointment. Reading how T.L. Osborn went to India full of zeal, only to return home defeated, and then later had a life-changing encounter with Jesus, reminded me that setbacks can become turning points. I also appreciated how the book included the struggles of leaders like Kenneth Hagin and A.B. Simpson, who faced sickness and doubt before breakthrough came. The author’s reminder about the “healing thread”—that one person’s healing can spark another’s miracle—stuck with me. It left me with hope not just for my own healing but also for carrying healing to others.
