FROM THE AUTHOR:

What inspired you to write Healed to Heal?

I didn’t write this book after the breakthrough—I wrote it in the middle of the battle.

I was dealing with a severe spine condition, told there was no cure, and living in relentless daily pain. I knew the Scriptures on healing, but I wasn’t seeing results. That’s when God showed me: it’s not the prayer of hope that heals—it’s the prayer of faith.

So I dug deep. I studied the Word, meditated on healing promises, and confronted every trace of doubt until faith had ground to stand on. When healing came, I knew I couldn’t go back to “normal.” I wanted others to experience what I had found—not just healing, but the bigger picture behind it.

As I began sharing, I realized this wasn’t just my story. Over and over, I saw the same pattern in others: people who were radically healed… and then became vessels of healing to those around them. That’s where the title Healed to Heal comes from. It isn’t just a phrase—it’s a pattern throughout Scripture and history.

Jesus heals us not just to comfort us—but to commission us. Healing was never meant to be the end of a story, but the beginning.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

What is Healed to Heal actually about?

Healed to Heal is a faith-building journey through the lives of 29 men and women who were radically healed by Jesus—and then became vessels of healing to others.

It’s not just a collection of miracle stories. Each chapter blends historical biography, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led insight to show how one healing life becomes a healing voice. You’ll meet figures from church history whose healing sparked ministries, movements, and multiplied miracles around the world.

But this isn’t just about them—it’s about you.

Who is this book for?

  • Anyone seeking healing—physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
  • The one who's prayed but hasn’t seen results yet and is feeling discouraged.
  • The believer who's experienced God's power and wants to minister healing to others.
  • Those who've watched loved ones suffer and wondered what Scripture really says about miracles.
  • The weary heart that still believes—but needs to see the fire again.

What makes Healed to Heal different from other healing books?

Unlike many books that simply recount healing testimonies, Healed to Heal goes deeper. It doesn’t just tell you someone was healed—it unpacks the why and how behind the breakthrough.

You’ll learn:

  • What spiritual principles were at work
  • What shifted in that person’s mindset or faith
  • How God used a single healing to impact others in powerful, ongoing ways

It shows the pattern of multiplication—how one person touched by God becomes a vessel for others.

You’ll walk away with:

  • A deeper understanding of God’s will to heal
  • Real faith—not hype—to stand on His Word
  • Practical insight into how healing flows
  • Tools to rewire doubt, face disappointment, and press through

It’s not just about receiving healing—it’s about becoming a carrier of it.

Does the book deal with disappointment and unanswered prayers?

Yes—honestly and directly.

This book was born in the middle of pain, not after it. It begins with the author’s own struggle through unanswered prayer and deep disappointment.

It doesn’t ignore the ache when healing delays or doesn’t come the way we hope—but it also refuses to rewrite God's Word to match our experience.

“The only thing worse than losing someone you love to disease is losing yourself to unbelief. Letting grief harden you. Letting disappointment keep you from contending again.”

Healed to Heal holds space for grief—while anchoring your faith in truth.

What role does testimony play in the book?

Testimony is the heartbeat of Healed to Heal. It’s not treated as hype or hearsay—it’s both a weapon and a blueprint.

“When God heals, it’s never just for one person—it’s meant to multiply. Testimony sets precedent. When we speak what Jesus has done, we create faith for Him to do it again.”

The book also teaches how to:

  • Weigh testimonies against Scripture
  • Let them stir your faith—not become the foundation of it
  • Avoid misusing testimony in ways that can harm others

How does the book help readers engage with the healing stories practically and biblically?

Many historical healing accounts are paired with a Spirit-led Author’s Note—a reflection that draws out:

  • Spiritual patterns
  • Scriptural truth
  • Practical application

These aren’t sanitized devotionals—they’re raw, biblical, and deeply personal. They walk readers through tough but common questions like:

  • “What if my healing delays?”
  • “What if symptoms come back?”
  • “What if my story doesn’t end like theirs?”

What themes will readers find in the book?

  • The healing power of Jesus: yesterday, today, forever
  • The link between faith and healing—and how to build real faith
  • The role of resistance, persistence, and spiritual warfare
  • The pattern of God healing one and sending them to reach many
  • The importance of the Word, the Spirit, and right belief

Are the healing stories “verified”?

Yes. Healed to Heal draws on:

  • Historical records
  • Ministry archives
  • Firsthand accounts

Including powerful testimonies from:

  • John G. Lake – Spokane’s healing rooms were medically documented as making the city the healthiest in the U.S.
  • Oral Roberts – His ministry recorded over 1 million confirmed healings.
  • T.L. Osborn – His global crusades saw mass healings, including Juan Santos, who stood and walked after 16 years paralyzed.
  • F.F. Bosworth – Healed from tuberculosis as a teen, he later received over 250,000 reports of healing. His book Christ the Healer still equips believers today.

These aren’t myths—they’re testimonies that still ignite faith.

Does the book talk about how healing ministries start?

Yes. In fact, nearly every figure profiled in the book didn’t start in power—they started in pain.

From Lester Sumrall’s near-death experience with tuberculosis to A.B. Simpson being too sick to preach, each one encountered healing… and that moment became the spark that launched a lifelong ministry.

Whether you’re a new believer or a seasoned pastor, this book will meet you where you are—and challenge you to go deeper.

But be warned: it may light a fire.

Is this book theological or practical?

Both. It’s biblically grounded and spiritually rich—but also real-world practical.

You’ll learn:

  • What the Bible really says about healing
  • How to identify and uproot unbelief
  • Why some healings are delayed—and how to press through
  • What to do after you’re healed
  • How to pray for others with boldness and clarity
